| This CD has been produced in memory of Brother Roger, the Founder of the Taizé Community in France who died in August 2005 aged 90. Brother Roger founded his Community in the village of Taizé in southeast France in 1940, and for over 60 years he dedicated his life, and that of his followers, to peace and reconciliation. His famous chants are know worldwide, particularly amongst young people who flock to Taizé as pilgrims every year to join in Brother Roger's unique form of Taizé worship. | |||
